Who inspires you and why?
My Dad, Chuck McKinney. He has taught me everything I know about baseball. He gave me the opportunity to play and pursue my dream.

What is your favorite book or movie?
My favorite movie is ‘Remember the Titans’ because it’s a great example of what can come from bringing people of different backgrounds together in pursuit of one goal.

What is your best advice for current Badin students?
Take advantage of the opportunities that life presents you with. Don’t ever be afraid to take risks, because if you don’t take them you never know what the outcome could be.

What is your best memory as a Badin student?
Playing in the 2008 and 2009 baseball state championship games. Also, beating Clinton Massie in the 1st round of football playoffs in overtime.

If you could have lunch with anyone living or dead, who would it be?
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson because he is an awesome role model. He worked his way from nothing and although is one of the top celebrities today, he consistently gives back to those around him.
